Shelter in the City
Shelter in the City looks at homelessness through the lives of a father and son. For almost two years, Ken Murray Sr. has been trying to get his mentally ill son, Ken Murray Jr., off the streets of New York City where there are almost 60,000 homeless men, women, and children. A cross-section of individuals and organizations were interviewed to provide a better understanding of the many causes of homelessness, to look at the various resources that are currently available, and to see if there are viable solutions to ending it.
